April

“Snow in April is abominable,” said Anne. “Like a slap in the face when you expected a kiss.” -L. M. Montgomery

It was so beautiful though.

Michael made a train out of barrels for his grandkids and one Sunday afternoon, they invited Atticus over to join in the fun. He loved it. 🙂

Us

Christopher in a library (his happy place)

this capture made me happy inside. It was unposed 🙂

his favorite expression these days (this morning Christopher farted and this was the exact look he got along with a loud gasp…:P)

I love these two

the cherry tree was glorious this year…

We named our angel baby. Other women who have walked this path told me I should if I found the right name and if it felt right, so Christopher and I talked about it and I looked at gender neutral names. Found out I 100% hate them all. So, based on my feeling of her being a girl and because I know the chances increase depending on when you ovulate, etc (I’ll spare you the details), but long story short, I am 95% sure it was a girl. 🙂 so we named her Luna Mist. Luna because it’s beautiful and we both love it. Mist because it’s temporary, fleeting, and you can’t hold on to it. I debated on sharing this publicly and decided to go for it…partly, because I like sharing things with people who care, and partly because it’s such a pretty name and I’m kind of proud of it. 🙂 She’s buried under our cherry tree, and I don’t think I’ll ever look at cherry blossoms without thinking of her. Naming her did bring closure and I do recommend it to anyone who goes through this and feels comfortable with doing it. It’s a life…no matter how short, and honoring that life feels right.

when Quido came, we climbed a tree because we had promised each other as little girls to climb a tree together when we turned 30 as proof that we weren’t getting old in spirit along with our bodies (because to 8-10 year olds, 30 is old, apparently). So we did it! It was much more difficult and scary than it used to be.

this photoshoot of Wilmer’s was so much fun! And I feel like the dresses Judith made almost have a light of their own… they’re so beautiful!

We had a sort of picnic in our paradise one evening! Christopher wasn’t hungry so I ate my wrap and Atticus had a PB & J sandwich he rubbed everywhere and mostly ate…:P

tasting a flower

the next day my friend Elizabeth came to visit and I took her there with her pup and we had more fun…it’s such a beautiful place!

Kaye came to visit and watching Bella and Atticus interact was the best. 🙂

Bella taught Atticus about the fun of jumping in mud puddles. She obviously isn’t scared of getting a full body mud bath. 😀

His face says it all ❤

Love them ❤

finally having warm weather lately

Can’t believe he’s already a year and a half old!

Loved these 😀

Till next time, dear ones! Have a good month. ❤
